Making payments for Train to Teach English

Payments should be in Sterling (£) or Euros (€) according to your invoice. All currencies not listed should be paid in Sterling (£).

Please note that Natwest bank’s inland payment department charge 7 GBP for all payments received in sterling, so if paying by bank transfer, you must add 7 GBP to the total amount to be transferred.

 

Payment Details

The course fee includes all tuition, the costs of Moderation, certification and posting, reasonable but not excessive use of photocopying, laminating and printing facilities, soft folders for the Learner Profile and Materials Assignment, and Teaching Practice ring binders with previously-inserted dividers. Trainees are expected to provide for themselves notebooks where relevant, a ring binder to contain additional notes as well as the Handbook if the trainee wishes to have a hard copy, and a laptop or tablet.

After successful application, you will be asked to pay a £200 deposit for the Teacher Training or the Teacher Development Course to the Centre in Margate. This should be done by bank transfer or on-line by credit card.

The balance of Course Fees is payable 1 month prior to Course commencement.

Payment should be made in the relevant currency to the correct bank account.

Bank charges are the payer’s responsibility. The amount invoiced must be received in full and any underpayment must be settled before the Course starts.

If the applicant cancels a course more than 28 days before the scheduled start date, a cancellation fee equal to the deposit will be charged (ie £200). If the Course is cancelled from 28 days to 7 days before the scheduled start date, 50% of the fees may be refunded; there would be no refund if a cancellation is made less than 7 days before the start of the Course. No refund of fees will be made once the Course has started.

If the applicant postpones a Course, the deposit paid will be carried over to pay for the new one.
